Why Early Access?

“We began development of C.O.D.E.R.E.D in the latter half of 2020, it has taken us over a year to get it to the stage it is at today. We have decided to release the game in Early Access because we want your feedback to help us expand and improve upon the game.”

“We estimate that C.O.D.E.R.E.D will remain in Early Access for at least another year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is expected to be an overhaul of the Early Access, with refined gameplay and new visuals. We hope to include at least 6 brand new levels, new character models and customizations, custom weapon animations, additional match modes, custom maps and content with Steam Workshop, the list goes on.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains only a single match mode with 2 playable maps. Basic weapon mechanics have been implemented, however, the game is not very well polished, contains many bugs and lacks optimizations in many areas.”

“Pricing is likely to change after Early Access.”

“We have launched a Discord server where we post announcements, where players can post suggestions, and where questions regarding the game can be answered. For those wanting to donate, we have a Patreon page to help accelerate the game's development. We want C.O.D.E.R.E.D to be as community-driven as possible, so we encourage players who are interested to be a part of the development process.”

About This Game

Prisoners vs. Correctional Officers

C.O.D.E.R.E.D allows you to play as either a prisoner or a correctional officer. You have thirty minutes to escape prison, or be arrested. Search for weapons and help your teammates. Over half of the prisoners must escape in order to win, or over half of them must be arrested for the correctional officers to win.

Choose from a variety of weapons, including 5 handguns, 5 assault rifles, 3 shotguns and 3 grenade items. Access armories and infirmaries to find new weapons and replenish health. Correctional officers can keep track of motion detected by the security cameras, to locate escaping prisoners.

Host matches with up to 50 players! Includes bots.
